My Source of Strength - Jesus as My Fuel

Thanks to brother Kelvin who gave me a tea light candle, it has inspired me to tell my Lord this -

Candlelight

Father Lord, I am like a candle

One that is fueled by Your strength,

One that will never extinguish,

For my walk with You is never-ending.

Father Lord, I am like a candle

One that shines brightly despite all the gloom that surrounds me,

And You are the provider of that shine, that

Everlasting hope that ever burns out.

Father Lord, with You I am like a candle

Spreading out warmth in the hailstorms.

Lord Jesus, with You, I can be like a candle

Which light can withstand the worst of howling winds

And the worst of raging storms.

Even in the worst circumstances, You are keeping me strong.

Just by making me a candle, fueled with Your Almighty strength.

Father Lord, I can be this everlasting candle.

I know I can.
